Class Description
This three-session course is about relief printmaking without a press. Through instruction using essential techniques, lots of visual examples, and hands-on demonstrations, we will explore softoleum and linocut reliefs, and related printing methods. Participants will use their own drawings, visual references or found materials for subject matter. Interactive critiques and individual consultation will further develop imagery and technical competence. Non-toxic printmaking materials and methods will be used. ICAC Class Cancellation Policy
At ICAC, we try to provide you with high-quality instructors, classes, workshops, and facilities. Our instructors must be booked well in advance and they begin planning and purchasing materials in preparation for the class. Because of this, the ICAC has a 2-week cancellation policy. All cancellation requests must be submitted to the ICAC a minimum of 2 weeks (10 business days) before the scheduled start date to be eligible for a refund. Refunds will be issueds using the original method of payment whenever possible and are subject to a $10 administrative fee. If we do not have the minimum number of registrants, then the class will be cancelled. Often, we are required to make this decision early, so that our members have not invested money into materials. If a class is cancelled, a refund will be issued.
