Get "Hooked" on Rug Hooking

Join us to try your hand at rug hooking! In this casual, hands-on class, participants will get a feel for rug hooking basic shapes with yarn and come out with a small rug hooked piece, either a broach or a coaster/mug mat! Participants will learn the basic practice of rug hooking as well as how to finish a piece with a basic glued edge backing. No kits or complicated patterns necessary! Materials and tools will be available to participants for the duration of the class.

If you'd like to continue on in your rug hooking journey after the course, kits with tools will be available for purchase directly from the instructor (cash only).

The Ingersoll Creative Arts Centre is located in the middle of Victoria Park in Ingersoll. Car Access is by Centennial Lane, off Wellington street only. You will see baseball diamonds and Playground equipment. The Victoria Park Community Centre is located at the west end. The Ingersoll Cheese and Agricultural Museum is located at the East End (Highway 19) of the Park. There is no road connection, it is a walking trail only between the two buildings.
