Awards
The Newell Award was established in 1997 by Barbara and King Newell. King wanted to support the Ingersoll Creative Arts Centre financially, while recognizing the contributions made to the Centre by key individuals.
The award is presented annually, recognizing a person who has provided "outstanding contribution to the Ingersoll Creative Arts Centre". Along with the personal award, the Centre receives a donation of $1,000. King died shortly after establishing this award. His wife, Barbara, continues to support it. We are very grateful to King and Barbara.
